Research Findings and Ongoing Analysis
This section presents emerging observations derived from landscape analysis, historical sources, and LiDAR interpretation. It is intended as a living research space that will evolve as new data is reviewed.
Current areas of investigation include but not limited to:
• Topographic anomalies identified through LiDAR hillshade analysis
• Historic mining features and transport routes
• Possible boundary systems and trackways
• Relationships between industrial remains and earlier landscape features.
•Possible roman presence
Findings are presented with annotated imagery and explanatory text to ensure transparency and accessibility. Interpretations remain provisional and are open to reassessment as additional evidence becomes available.
This approach reflects the dynamic nature of landscape research and encourages responsible, evidence-led discussion and archaeological analysis.
